just okay stay
thin walls hall noise
the room was clean. i guess that's something.
the walls felt kinda thin. i could hear every footstep in the hall, and i swear someone was practicing their tuba at 3 a.m. it was not the tranquil getaway i had imagined.

stained headboard sewage smell
the room was small. it had a double bed and a desk. the bed headboard had marks. some marks looked like dried blood. the bathroom had a sewage smell. i needed to keep the door closed and the fan on. it wasnt a very nice experience.

mixed feelings about this stay
poor communication paper-thin walls
the tv signal was nonexistent . i reported it, but the staff never followed up, which i found disappointing. also, the noise from adjacent rooms was quite disruptive for the first two days. it seemed like the walls were paper-thin (i thought something would fall apart).

decent spot
clean interior easy check-in ferry location claustrophobic feeling soft mattress rainwater leak
the room was pretty neat and well put together. i really loved how clean it was. plus, the location is pretty sweet. it's near the ferry stop, made getting around super easy.
The attic room just wasn't my thing. The rooftop window wasn't what i was expecting. there really wasn't any view, and it felt a bit claustrophobic. also, rainwater dripped through the tilted roof window. the bed wasn't the best. The mattress was too soft.

riverside retreat
practical fridge freezer water view short walk uber boat
the room had a very practical fridge and freezer. i enjoyed the view over the water to canary wharf. it was a short walk to the river for a stroll (i needed this!). the uber boat pier was also very close.
i could hear a lot of noise through the walls. other guests woke me up at 3 am.

i found several supermarkets and shops not too far from the hotel. there were also good rated dining options and coffee places within walking distance. i had plenty of choices for meals.

the hotel is in a quiet residential area near canada water. it has amazing views of canary wharf, the city, and greenwich (lovely!). the bus stop is a short walk away and connects to central areas.

great value and convenient location
cozy space public transport convenient location coded access
I found the single room just right for my needs. It was a cozy space that had everything i needed for a short stay. the location was very convenient to public transport, particularly the thames clippers, which i used frequently, there was also a helpful deli nearby. the self check-in was straightforward, and i felt very secure with the coded access.
the soundproofing was not ideal, and i did hear some noise from other guests at times. it wasn't a major issue, but it's something to be aware of

The room included tea-making facilities and a fridge. This was very useful for preparing simple meals and snacks. self check-in was available, and it provided a flexible arrival time, which worked well with my travel schedule. the hotel offers free parking.

The location is near the river, offering pleasant walks. I took advantage of this for some relaxed strolls. it's close to the thames clippers stop! the area felt safe and quiet. the location was perfect though the parking was expensive.
